Do you like to sew and make things and are looking for ideas and instructions? You will find them here. In my spare time I like to sew and make crafts. Sometimes, I teach adult and children how to sew and make things as well. I'm not a professional seamstress or artist so my projects tend to be on the easy side, hence, the name of my sewing & craft blog is 'Sew Easy So Crafty'.

Pattern for a Crochet Camouflage Bottle Holder

As you might or might not know, one of my son is into survival gear so I thought I’d make him a bottle holder in a camouflage pattern. For what is survival without water?

It is pretty hard to crochet a camouflage pattern as crochet is done in rows. So basically to make it camouflage it’s done using camouflage colours of greens and brown. I looked into my stash of yarn and came up with these three colours. It would have been better if had a brown in there but I worked with what I had.

Crochet Bottle Holders

Bottle holders are soooo handy! We often go bushwalking and every time we go my husband would be the one to carry all our bottles in his backpack. It's always inconvenient as whenever we need a drink we would have to stop my husband and get the bottles or we would have to wait until my husband decides to stop and let us have the bottles.

Water bottle holders are the solution. Everyone carry their own bottle and we can drink whenever we want. You might ask why don't we carry our own bottles - well when you go bushwalking you don't want to carry or hold anything. These bottle holders have a strap that cross over the shoulder so it makes the bottle quite light.

High Teas and Tea Cosies

Last year, one of my sisters took all of us sisters and her nieces to have high tea with her. She normally has tea at those high end hotels but one of our nieces receommended this little tea shop. So we travelled by train into the city to this quaint little place called the Tea Cosy. Obviously, the main attraction was the tea cosies. They served tea in teapots covered with tea cosies and they even sell them as well.

Normally, I'm not a fan of tea cosies because I have lovely teapots that would be spoilt by covering them up.

Pastel Coloured Stripe Crochet Scarf

This is my second atttempt at crochet. The first one was a total disaster. The stitches were uneven and I had to restart five times.

I'm quite happy with how this one turned out.Oh why didn't I teach myself crochet sooner? I love crochet! I'm starting on another project using a different stitch (watch out for that one).

For this scarf:
